MARÍA TORRES · FUERZA VITAL

What if taking care of yourself began with listening?

A welcome to a space for understanding our bodies, listening to their changes and building caring habits with less pressure.

Sometimes we realise that we have spent a long time trying to keep up with everything. We show up, solve problems and carry on. Somewhere along the way, we stop asking ourselves a simple question: How am I doing?

Many of us have been taught to push ourselves, but not to know ourselves. To keep going even when our bodies ask us to pause. To believe that taking care of ourselves means doing more, when it may begin with listening to what is already happening within us.

Our bodies change. Some days we feel full of energy; on others, we need to slow down. For some women, these changes are felt throughout the menstrual cycle. For others, they emerge at different stages of life. We do not all have the same experience or the same needs. So why do we expect ourselves to feel and perform the same way every day?

Understanding what we feel does not solve everything at once, but it can bring relief. Naming our tiredness, recognising a need or noticing what helps us feel well allows us to make clearer choices. Not to get everything right, but to stop finding our way in the dark.

Perhaps no one taught us how to follow this path. We can learn now, little by little: to observe ourselves without judgement, move with care, build habits we can sustain and ask for support when we need it. With less pressure and more listening.

This space is here for us to explore that path together. We will talk about the body, movement, strength and the questions we so often put aside.

And I would like to begin with one: if you truly listened to yourself today, what do you think your body would be asking for?
